OddJob
Jusr to let you lovely supporters and those interested know. Im taking 2 5 man teams to their first competition today. It's the schools challenge over on Oxford, doing our bit for comprehensive schools. Thanks for all your help in enabling the club to get to this point. OddJob
Thanks for the support and interest. I think we were about 9th out of 15 teams, at least the top team were. The nerves got to them a little but some good scores of 33/50 and 29/50 for a lad who is new to the sport. We beat Breedon school despite them having a £20k sporting field at their school. A reasonable start, especially as most were 14 and under up against college students. There are 2 legs, scores are added together. We aren't in it to win it this year, it's a development thing. Mungler
Ney woz. I have one of those velcro strap on extender (ooooerrr) leather sock / boot / butt pad things - if you've had it shortened, then this could give it some length again (ooooerrr again). Let me know if you want it and I'll dig it out.

Ferret Master
My old 6th form entered a team 2 years ago after I got a team together. Currently shooting for the Royal Ag. team and we're shooting at the Oxford Brookes University Clay Shooting Championships on Wednesday which is tied in with the Oxford Gun Company too. Seem to remember my old team beating Bredon school too. FieldsportsTV filmed them saying that because it was at their ground they had a right to practice on the birds that were being shot and we still beat them.
