crieffy
At last! A hot (for me) sunny day with next to no wind. The shoot.. Finally got one of these 'through the scope' pics to come out good (bunny is bottom right of the boulder - easier to see in full-sized pic) Closest of these four was 130 yards and the longest 180. Pleased with this shot - 144 yards and only half his head was visible. The writing's on the wall... or bus.. John

crieffy
Thanks guys Good shooting ...........Tell us a bit about your se up mate ? It's a fairly standard CZ Varmint but with a Brooks trigger kit (medium spring) and a Richards Microfit stock, ASE Ultra moderator and a Harris swivel bipod. Scope is a Bushnell 3200 10x40, I used to have a 4-16 but found I rarely used much above 10x mag so I got this one instead, which is half the weight and compact too. It's quite a heavy setup but the new stock really improved the balance and control. I just didn't like the angle of the grip on the standard stock and never felt really confident on standing shots. Cheers, John
