SAVAGE HMR
You should have bought yourself one of those air rifles. The one with the thumbhole stock, what'd that set you back? About £2.00?
Beardo
probably - didn't have time to pop in unfortunately. It's an Indian made Daws Model 95 - they are listed on here... http://www.simsongunhouse.com/airguns.html but no prices. Break barrels seem to sell for around £50 there though on other sites the pistols have prices on... £8 up to £15!

GREENGRASS
Cracking set of shots nick. Obviously it's the kites that appeal to me. I would not have an issue capturing a few shots of them. Thanks for posting. GG
scolopax
Very similiar to Rock Doves but without the distinct white rump. Maybe a local subspecies? Very interesting pictures. Thanks for posting them.
gixer1
In the interests of staying on theme - Also working away just now and passing through Houston....would've been rude not to visit the USA's native establishments -

Beardo
I ate curry for breakfast, lunch and dinner for a week and had no issues! food was fantastic - obviously stayed well clear of salads, ice cubes etc. Here's some more shots of the Black Kites (Pariah Kites) and a lovely fella dishing out wraps at a temple... Bloody hard getting the exposure right as they are all silhouetted against such a bright sky Shopping centre entrance
