docholiday Posted August 5, 2012 Report Share Posted August 5, 2012 In 40 od years of shooting I have never shot 100 pigeons in a day before, anyway thursday we shot 101 on a local farm, was meant to be of stalking in the evening but was desperate to get the ton and the last 5 pigeons took 1/2 an hour but finished with a right and left, then had a fallow in the evening. Friday was a day out with my uncle over on the Isle of Wight and we had 178 between us with my total being 108. so two very memorable days. only down side was there was uncut crops around us and a few birds were lost into that, it would have caused to much damage to pick them up.
