Out once more this morning, with the polecat jill, she is getting better and gaining some great experience. :(

Got 5 one of them had slight mxy, hope it wont get hold, as this place has sufferd bad with the ******* thing, i hate mxy. :)

1 got away and 3 more were young ones which sliped the net, too small. I cought them and put them back into another barrow which was empty, they should survive. :yp:

Anyhow, i really enjoyed it, all action, then home.

Brings back a lot of nice memorries this ferreting lark from when i did it 10 years ago.

I will never have a gap that long from it again.

Its lovely being out their, one with the planet and natural life. :yp: ( hey up, im stating to sound like a 60s hippy :):/ :( )

I got 5 tonight. How are you going to prepare them burgers, curry etc?

I shoot a good few with the rimmy, so theirs plenty in the freezer for me. :(

 

How did you get 5? were you out lamping? Any pics?

i seriously envy you with the ferreting frank, i used to do a lot on the south downs but had to give the ferrets away when i split up with that woman who wears the ruby slippers!! theres no finer sport on a december morning with a bone in the ground. that reminds me. is there anyone local to me that wants 72 purse nets ? some hemp, some nylon. i offered them to longnetter but he never got back to me.i couldnt bear to throw them away but cant have ferrets now as i live in a flat. ill gladly give them away to anyone local who can pick them up. :lol:
