well done Pin

what were you shooting skeet? ESP?

Sporting. First competition I have won, so I am over the moon. Some good shooters there too, a few good county shooters and some older shooters who have been there done that. Was a bit miffed again as the birds I dropped were daft, given these other shooters were having such bother I could have done so much better ;)

Nice shooting yourself by the way TP!

28 ex 50 on sporting, not very good but oddly enough no one else shot very well so it was enough for a tie ;)

I was **** at skeet again, I was up in the 20's every week recently but have now lapsed to a miserable 16 this week god help me :xmas:

Shot at the Mid Wales shooting ground near Caersws on Sunday, blew a gale and lashed it down with rain, but I was impressed by the site, cafe, & shop. Had my Bro and a mate with me, and taught them both a lesson on skeet so silenced any **** taking in the pub later. I look forward to trying the sporting clays there.

Shot Dartford for the first time on Sunday.

Very impressive - I am not used to nice club houses - give me a leaking portacabin and the smell of onions anyday.

Only took 10 mins to get to and dead easy to find (LB). Will deffo be going again.

Shot 78/100 ESP and was quite pleased with that for a first time round and picked up another pot in the process.

So then, anyone fancy shooting Dartford over the Xmas period - I hope the weather holds - it was absolutely perfect on Sunday.

I haven't shot Dartford for some time, but I've heard it's improved, I'd be up for a shoot there, I'm sure Stealth Stalker & Pin would also like to have a go, also dunganick.

I realise it's slightly off topic, so for the record I shot an 84 at Doveridge and a 94 at Kibworth yesterday, the 94 was not good enough as there was a 96 in, so I had to settle for joint 2nd. :good:

Yeah, well with scores like that you ain't invited unless you shoot left handed or with a gun of our choice (Mossberg pump) :good:

So then, what about some dates - I can always make room for shooting, the wife and kids can amuse themselves. Can do any day apart from Xmas and Boxing day.

Someone pick the time and date.....

Dartford is a must do, at some point even for an informal practise maybe

secondly there is a registered at Horne this Sun,

anyone?

Tosspot,

I'll probably be at the Horne this Sunday for a 10.00am start, subject to:

a) Not being too foggy (very likely..??)

:good: Not too hungover from a party Saturday night..!!

Xmas eve is not the best day to be doing too much driving - the M25 is likely to look more like an NCP after about 1.00pm..!!

PM me for contact details if you're going.

Local 50 bird sporting today, 43ex50 but extremely annoyed with how things turned out. Fast low restricted view (comes over a bush) driven duck which I hit 4 of but kept lifting my head for some reason . Then dropped a silly single from 5 sim pairs of quatering away right. 3 straights though, should have been 4 with a few more on the driven and there's a decent score.

Always the same, what could have been.

Nice shooting mate. I went for a mooch just local while I was meant to be out getting the shopping and pet food (mrs P is ill) and had one shot, one cock pheasant in the bag. Was very happy with that :o
