Airforcehunter
Too many memories and amazing experiences too count...but here's a few highlights... 23 lbs on the Turkey on my shoulder and 18 on the one I'm sitting with...both will be proudly displayed here in my office when my goods make it across the pond. The one where Im sitting is a Meriam's Wild Turkey from New Mexico, and comes with a funny story. I was out in NM for some training during Turkey season, and decided to give it a shot on a huge public national forrest. Had no clue where to go, but just started hiking and calling in the mountains. The area was about 7300 feet elevation, so i was tired as a dog after the first day, getting a bunch to Gobble but none would commit, having hiked about 15 miles that day. However, I was able to find a huge antler from an Elk that you see in the pictures so not all was lost. Best part of the story is, I got **** drunk that night, and woke up late the next morning to go hunt. As I'm out taking a **** outside my Caravan, a Turkey gobbles less than 100 yards from where I'm peeing. Three calls and 10 min later, I shoot him at 52 yards about less than 1/10 of a mile from the caravan. Morale of the Story....Forget working your *** of when turkey hunting...just get **** drunk and they will come to you the next morning!!! The one of the Deer Skulls are the 3 Bucks takin off our farm in 2009...all very nice deer The Duck pics with the "Rack of Ducks" are from the Club I hunted with in 2010-2011. We had an amazing year, because it was a drought, but our property had enuff water to pump two rice fields full. I believe the count for the 10 members was over 1200 ducks in a 60 day season that year The Duck pics with the log were from my 2011-2012 club. Great spot, and when there was a push of Ducks, its a magical thing to watch ducks break tree branches as they come in through the flooded Timber of Arkansas

rimfire4969
There are some great photos there Love the duck with the very thin neck in picture 2, right hand bottom, looks like it had a hard time or you might of pulled his head a bit hard as there is not much holding it together. I would love to shoot in the States, thanks for the insight.
scutt
good pics. Looks cold can the water freeze and if it does do you still shoot duck
Airforcehunter
Water does freeze and the hunt right before, and right after ICE OUTare on fire Best hunt i've ever had, was actually over a very thin film of ice. We go in and break up the ice by stomping it, or its too thick, drive an ATV over it, and then set our decoys in the hole/ You have to send someone out about every half hour to rebreak the ice, but its worth it. Landed over 200 mallards in about a 30 yard hole, and the edges of the ice. Needless to say, we shot our limit of 6 dux each in about 3 hrs, but 2:45 of that was due to videotaping and just sitting back in awe of the spectical of hundreds of mallard puring into your decoy set With UK limits, we couldve shot 200 birds that day
