Duffryn
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dk3nixgj14M Short video of a Pheasant & Duck Day from yesterday. The camera battery gave out before the final and 5th drive which was a real shame because it was a superb end to a good day. Dirty Harry
There must have been 100 duck flushed at once. I find it impossible to know where to shoot when it's like that.

Duffryn
Well done mate nice vid wat render settings do u use i cant get it that clear. some nice shots too well done. Thanks. On Vegas Pro 9 I use Type Sony AvC (Mp4) and render 16:9 25p. This renders at 720p as opposed to the 1080 I shoot in but it seems clear enough. Hope this helps

Duffryn
thanks mate thats really helpfull will try some later I cannot tell from your videos if your using a Go Pro ? If you are then I think you are perhaps using the wrong FOV setting. You need to use Medium or Narrow rather than wide , it will be much easier to see the birds. pestbry
Very Good again, are there pickers behind you ? as a few good high shots the birds come down way behind . ( thought i heard a voice saying they picked the 1 duck ? )

Looked at that a great camera (superb picture) but the wide angle is a reaL PAIN for shooting because it only picks up the close birds. Very Good again, are there pickers behind you ? as a few good high shots the birds come down way behind . ( thought i heard a voice saying they picked the 1 duck ? ) yes they were way behind, most of the guns have dogs so we run them through the area afterwards to make sure we pick all the birds

Kes
D, I really enjoy your vids and they save me a heck of a lot - you dont go stalking do you? Its a shame that you havent a spare eye on the top of your head as the distances look horrific from this side of the screen. Oh and when you decide to get rid of Rob - can I please have first refusal - excellent dog and quite a character. Another very satisfied follower of yours. P.S. I'll have a word with your wife about your and Rob's obvious talent for film making if you wish - maybe she would let you out more often !!! Duffryn
Thanks Kes. I'm lucky to be able to shoot every Saturday of the season and the Mrs wont allow me to get into Stalking. I've tried everything to convince her ! Rob will be with me until retirement I'm afraid ( thankfully that is a long time away he is only 3.5yrs old)
