ditchman
The hedges around my areas are loaded with rose hips and they arnt been hammered at all, there are no acorns to speak of, i dont know what the beech mast situation is, i think later on the birds are going to get fed up with rape and stubbles and start hitting the ivy berries i usually see the field fares in their thousands by now, but havnt seen that many at all at the moment............weird year !! if we get a hard frost soon, the feeding habits are going to change, what to i dont know....any ideas ?
