Pigeon Pieman
Great looknig beast Mrs Pieman wouldn't want it on the wall, but would be more than happy if someone else wanted to take it for their wall etc. Unfortunatley we already have a trendy Victorian hat stand!!!! new to the flock
Big Dave They are not just in the USA, as we have them in Canada as well. If I ever managed to shoot a mulie of that class, and expecially since he is non typical my favourite, he would be on the wall from the front shoulder forward. The Sniper
Paul, I have told you before not to tell lies........now go and play in the middle lane of the motorway. Pigeon Pieman, Well I have scoured the photos page and can't see a photo of you to judge this by. Until then I can only presume, as you have never met me, that I am more handsome than you. red_stag88
Judging by avatars, I wouldnt like to meet either of you on a dark night, one being a lunatic with a sniper rifle and seeming unlimited ammo, or a dodgy frog like yoda. BigDave15
Are you talking about an animal that in europe is called An elk and in Noth America it is called a moose. Confusing isnt it! There both nice I like the amercain moose, looks like a lot of meat on it! I like the elk they look like big reds but with differnt colours they look huge! red_stag88
The ones we have at home (nearly in the garden)were bread with Wapati after the war, a few years ago we shot a 450 lb beast (after it was grallocked) .It took a 7x64 in neck at 100yds and had it in him to run 75 more before he fell. Dragging him out of a ploughed feild was bl**dy hard.
Hammergun
European Elk is a separate species to North American Moose. North American Elk is similar in appearance to Red Deer, and is also known as Wapiti.

PC Futrett
Deer not my favoutire species at the moment. Just demolished the front of my car with one on Sunday night on my way home. £1000 pounds of damage to the front of my car. Result 1 dead deer (After I kicked the **** out of it) Insurance company asked if there was anyone else involved I said no just me and Mrs R Deer who unfortuatly died at the scene. ernyha
(After I kicked the **** out of it) P C F I don,t think your method of despatching a wounded animal is one that should be taken up by others. Dented car or not, that type of action is hardly one that has a place in this forum. (Assuming you are serious of course) Not exactly giving us a good name or image is it. Pigeon Pieman
Ern I'm hoping PCF will post saying he meant he verbally 'kicked the deer' and not literally. That is right, isn't it, PCF? If not I'll have to agree with Ern, these are hard days for us all and the anti folk latch onto anything they think will help sway the 'fence sitters'.
