BRNDL
As in the title, I am wondering if you guys are all cammo/reeltree up when shooting flightlines and rough shooting? I understand sitting behind a hide gives you most of your cover, but I was wondering whether I need to go and buy realtree kit ect ect or is this kind of stuff a bit of a fashion statement? Thanks
worthy130
The idea of camo (any camo) is that it breaks up your silluet (or however it's spelt) thus it makes you harder to be spotted.
BRNDL
Do you wear it yourself and if so would you recommend spending £100+ on getting kitted out? Currently I have green trousers, green wellingtons, green Barbour balmoral wax jacket and a wax flat cap using a real tree face mask. worthy130
you don't need to spend £100 quid, the ex army stuff does the same job
Yellow Bear
Take yourself into Preston and get ex army camo for a fraction of the price - I find "flectarn"breaks up a shape well, no need to spend a wad.

Cambsman
For pigeons it's more important to stay still for as long as possible in my humble opinion. Dark, drab clothing is all you need.

Therealchucknorris
Have a look online for the 90's unused NBC suits. I find mine nice and warm when out in the field and helps keep the water off me. Just remember to wash them a couple of times by themselves first as the charcoal lining will come out - better in the wash than on you and anything you're wearing underneath on the first wear... I bought mine for £15 delivered. Just google it but I think mine came via Amazon

-oXo-
For just rough walking around a permission I just wear greens I prefer to keep the camo for war zones and pigeons but it is war with them as well I suppose. I'm not really a great fan of having everything in camo. Sounds to me like you have what you need. Edited November 28, 2012 by -oXo-
humperdingle
No camo... Muted greens/brown and a piece of material to cover the face. And sit very still.
