Shot is is normally used for skeet and close targets as you gets of them in cart but they loose energy faster and are smaller/lighter than the usual 7.5 shot size (largest allowed in most clay comps)

Also being Plaswad not suitable for all grounds

28g 7.5 and enjoy...... DTL is all going away shots at varying angles its a "trap" discipline start mounted with bead on the top of the trap house and off you go.

Just remember to empty your gun when moving stands and don't close it till your turn to shoot, if haven't shot in a "squad" before its a bit different

Anything that is up to 28g and between 7 and 8. They all go bang and all break clays if you put them in the right place.

Club

If they got lead in them and they go bang all you got to do is put the lead on the target and hey presto.

Far to much wory about what cartridges and which choke to stick in. not enough thought about the target.

Sounds like one layout DTL (down the line) ABT (Automatic ball trap) and then some compak. So will probably be shot as a squad. DTL and ABT are very similar, Compak is clays shot from a trap line but a mix of birds, normally a mix of birds, teals, crossers etc

Just relax and have fun and explain to the ref/scorer its your first time shooting the discipline and you'll be fine
