bruno22rf
Just looking on the bay and seen lead shot at around £10/kilo (2.5 mm which is near no6) but its sold as ballasat for skuba diving.Would this be suitable for a muzzle loader?Anyone ever tried it?Is it a good price? sandspider
Last time I bought proper lead shot (a couple of years ago to be fair) it was £5 a kilo, so that sounds a bit steep to me...

bruno22rf
Its for my muzzle loader-used to use one for pigeon shooting many years ago (great fun cos if the shot misses them you still have a chance of setting the blighters on fire!) and just bought another so i'm stocking up on all the bits. Lord Geordie
Bruno! There is a chap on there selli.g reclaimed lead at around £50 for 20 kilo. When I got mine it was a tad under weight even with the packaging but for the money I think it's OK. If I could find it cheaper I would be well happy! :(
