I've really changed over the last few years, i just find big crowds a bore and struggle to keep interested in the chat. I think when i was younger going out was more important as you wanted birds as well as booze. People are conditioned to feel the need to go out and spend fortunes getting into bars and clubs that are normally free, no thanks. Edit: I did manage to get up to Epsom Downs just before midnight and I have to say it was pretty cool watching all the displays going off across the city. BerettaSV10 Posted January 1, 2013 Report Share Posted January 1, 2013 Appeared to go off a lot quieter this year only a few fireworks, looked as though a couple of the bigger do's did not happen and the pub down the road was quiet unlike previous years where they have been out in the streets yelling their heads off.
