Any farmers having problems with crop dammage Pigeon Shooting in Norfo

Recommended Posts

Will all due respect,

How about you introduce yourself, take an active role in the forums' goinga on and take the time/make the effort to get to know some fellow forum users ?

many of whom will be shooting vermin for the farmers of Norfolk having done just that AND having done the rounds of farms in the area and knocked those farmers doors and asked for permission / offered their services.

There's some brilliant Guys (& Gals) who are forum users up in Norfolkcestershire - Good Luck

Hi Ivanhoe.504

Suggest you take on board TaxiDriver's good advice and also use the 3 P's approach - Polite, Patient, Persistent. Getting permission to shoot over anyone's land is difficult to obtain so I wish you luck with your search. Maybe worth you going along to the PW Flush on March 9th being run by HitClays, there might be an opportunity to introduce yourself to some of the local keepers and farmers that go along.......but be prepared for lots of 'No's' as most of them have their regulars.

Lakeside1000 - sounds like you're up and about again??

Yes thanks, one opp down (5 weeks ago ) ok so far, but another to go in feb, what a laugh, I might need to build a trolly to get my gear out to the hide, still as long as I can walk I can shoot, I never heard back from your hubby but I imagine hes busy this time of the year, thanks for trying , I will be at the flush all being well, maybe see you there, take care ,.

Think he might have been waiting for you to advise when you were all sorted health-wise and yep, he is v busy at the moment as are all keepers and that won't change until Feb 1st.....roost shooting starts in Feb so there might be an opportunity there......make sure you introduce yourself at the PW Flush in March if nothing comes to fruition before then......
