is RF facebook page not run by his wife Tanya as it named " Tanya N Richard Faulds " ? maybe its her that's signed for Guerini -- there's nothin on the Caesar Guerini UK web site about this . Personally I'd be surprised if Richard goes to Guerini but if he does good luck to him .

you have to pick a guerini up and swing it abought and look at the small detail's and shoot it to really get the whole picture i have been buying and shooting beretta shotguns for the past 25 years until i picked up a guerini wont be going back to beretta for the next 25 years thats how good their are, very underrated they also come with a 10 year full warranty as standard :good:

Good solid guns from what I have seen, not overly complex but robust and serviceable, something must be right for them to offer 10 year warranty, would get one if I had the money but will stick with mk38 for know. William Powell use there actions. Will be interesting to see how he performs over next 12 months. He would still beat most of us with what ever came to hand. Interesting to see that 692 will have adjustable rib like there impact models.

I reckon that's the last we'll hear of Mr Faulds until he starts using a proper shotgun again!!!!

I'm pretty sure William Powell use Zoli rebaged guns, I'd be surprised if they came down market to a CG!!

Well said Rammer, I shoot a Maxus 20 bore and love it.

Owned a Guerini Summit, which handled almost exactly the same as the Beretta 682E Gold I had at the time.

My only reservation was whether Beretta had a stronger, longer lasting lock-up. Both were well engineered.

Beretta actions have a history of durability, which Guerini will do well to match.

Time will tell.

I owned and used a 32" Summit sporter a little over a year ago, I know quite a lot about them now and I am also a precision engineer, a Toolmaker in fact, for too many years I have been making plastic injection moulding tools which require a level complexity and precision beyond shotgun actions. I programmed and operated CNC machines of all sorts, EDM's included. I can tell you now that the only thing that impressed me about the Summit was that the designers have got the angle between the top rib and the axis of the top barrel (which was heat distorted at the joining rib inside) exactly right and, for the sporter at least, the angle between the barrels almost perfect. The rest of the engineering is no better or no worse than most of the low to medium priced guns. The durability of the finish on the stock of my Summit was poor and went dull at the top, do a Google search on the subject!!! The cheeks of the monoblock are nicely jewelled, we are told to sustain lubrication and provide a longevity. I have found that there is half a millimetre of clearance for most the cheeks. That is not a bearing surface, yet my action was very tight so what was causing the tightness? It was between the fore-iron and the knuckle, after a relatively low amount of use it showed signs of picking up (seizing and tearing at the knuckle) I used the best quality grease I could obtain just to prevent further damage. I could get no support worth talking about and moved the gun on (at may I say a huge loss) and went back to a Berreta. This is my own personal experience and may not relflect that of others so please don't hang me out to dry in as cyber sense at least.
