Dr_evil
Top up water level try it check for leaks if non visible its the cyl head gasket Scare mongering there aren't you ? Leaky hose, leaky gasket, pin hole in rad, worn out matrix, bust controller if its a climate control model etc. Just because it loses coolant and its not visible doesn't mean its HGF, leaks can sometimes only go under pressure so you cant see them
gixer1
Do you mean the fan has stopped working or that it is blowing but not heating up? What noise is it making when you switch it on?

dazbrit
It's blowing, but only cold air. Checked water levels and the header tank is empty filled it up and when i got under the car it was leaking a bit but when the engine was started, it started ******* out, but I can't find where it's coming from. It must be something more than a pin hole or small crack etc. the rate it's coming out. Any ideas?
la bala
check your core plugs when you got your head under there
PhilR
The bottom radiator hose is also a candidate for leaks. Edited February 3, 2013 by PhilR
al4x
Yup sounds like a hose but after the recent cold weather there is a chance it froze and pushed out a core plug, did it have plenty of antifreeze in? The other thing is you want to fix it before you cook the engine if its loosing coolant that fast
