sixhills 69 Posted January 31, 2013 Report Share Posted January 31, 2013 Just thought id drop a photo of my first litter, well not mine personally but my lovley bitch Roxie had 10 pups on tuesday and all doing great. Mother has taken to motherhood like a duck to water. This photo was taken 20 minutes after her last pup was born six and a half hours it took bless her. Mark thats why i asked if they were sold. most breeders put on different coloured ribbons to distinguish individual pups when selling. fortune Posted February 1, 2013 Report Share Posted February 1, 2013 That picture brings back memories. Hard work and distruction lay ahead when they get chewing everything and the pack walkies. I loved all of it. Selling them was a bit of a nighmare from people that really wanted one and then backed outat the last minute. But they all went to good shooting homes and have had a good life loved by their new owners. Makes me want to have another spaniel but the missus would be on my tail for ever about it as it breaks my heart when the last days come.
