Dekers
Been told to buy the ase mod as there better than the bigger wildcat mod slip over style All new to this so what are you using Who by? Which ASE are you looking at and which P8. On what basis have you been told one is better than the other, size, weight, aesthetics, length, sound moderation, price, etc. etc????? Most people will suggest what they have, because everyone has the best mod for their rifle!
Beardo
I have a T8, ASE utra jet-z, and a Pred 8 compact. For the .223 I'd recommend the ASE. Bigger calibres I'd go with A Pred 8 compact
Albert 888
Use a ase northstar over barrel mod on the. 223 they are made of stainless and do the job. Tried a mates t8 on mine one after the other no difference realy in noise the t8 is longer than and maybe heavier than the northstar and wasnt as balanced when on my 24" varmint barrel. Sx3 clay breaker
We use a Ase utra jetz on two 300 win mags and its easily better than a t8
fizzbangwhallop
The Jet Z CQB is ideal for a 223... a bit lighter and shorter than the standard Jet Z Compact. Got Compacts on the 22-250/243 and the 300WM - excellent. Or you could try Colin at onelesscharlie - over barrel, on the front, strippable, non-strippable, stainless whatever. He'll be at the show this weekend and I'll be buying from him next time I need one. atb Fizz
