Bigamos
Ok collected this on Thursday, and went to clean it and found this.....! It is hard to show in photos..... I'm 99% sure the gun has been rubbing in the transport box, and has turned the lacquered finish slightly cloudy, about the size of a 50p.....! It has also chipped the finish on the butt plate..... I never have any luck when buying new guns.....! OH, it's a Anschutz 1517 .17 hmr......

stavvy
I wouldn't worry, the overall condition will be worse than that after you've had it a while

Blunderbust
There is nothing wrong with expecting the kit you buy to be 100% when you get it. In the case that you are not happy let the dealer know, you are quite in your rights.
Gordon R
I wouldn't be happy. I would want a refund, exchange or some money.
Alycidon
Annis are top end guns, I would take it back and ask that the defects be repaired. A
Scully
It doesn't really matter what we think;you're obviously unhappy with it,and if something is brand new it isn't unreasonable to expect it to be in perfect condition.
jweaver
I bought a cheap Hatsan pump last week and that had a TINY scratch on the barrel. It was almost insignificant but i could see it. I took that back.. I told them that they could tell me to go away, but they eere very understanding and have sent it back to Hatsan.. Do i am waiting to see if they will replace it. In my oponion, if you arnt 100% happy.. Take it back.. You should expect absolute perfection when buyig something.. Irrespective of whther its goig to get damaged in normal use. But equally, i can understand why some people might live with it.. 2 of my friends thought i was mad complaining about my scratch.. So its a personal thing. Edited March 16, 2013 by jweaver
WGD
I would complain. I know it is not a big problem, but there shouldn't be a problem at all when you part with your hard earned. I would either want it replaced or get some money back for living with it.

malantone
when I bought my Bettinsolli I was trying to haggle the price down, he wasn`t for moving, then when I was putting back in the box I noticed a scuff on the stock, it wasn`t much and came out on the first oiling, but I turned to the dealer and told him I`d seen the scuff and didn`t want it, he then said he`d knock £50 off. stick in to them they want the sale. the enigma
You bought and paid for a brand new gun, what you receive should be exactly that.
