ack-ack
haha brilliant !nice to see pw members have sympathy Can you recommend a good hard wareing pair of socks for us please ! It wasn't meant to be unsympathetic, merely a reference to a common past time to which he has eluded in the past to been an active participant (as have most of us I'm sure). Chin up Supersonic, I was in the same boat last summer but now have a nice new lass thats 5-11 with big bangers. Every cloud chap, every cloud. I paid my fair share into this country i was only out of work for 6 weeks in 40 years so you can take that comment and stick it where the sun doesn't shine

LondonLuke
Read this on BBC earlier. "Market trader David Bennett, 51, who works between 50 and 70 hours a week and earned around £2,700 last year" Doesn't half make you think (or its a typo...!) Unless he is paying himself in dividends (which the taxman will know about) then he is asking for trouble Scrap that. You may not have been happy to work in a low paid job , but there are plenty that have no choice for one reason or another.
keg
At least you earn it mate Marty, are you saying that the OP doesn't earn his 70k? In answer to another post, It's quite legal to pay yourself a small salary then a large dividend at the end of the year.
