Nicky T
Thinking of getting a trampoline for my little'uns. Ideally i'd like one that they can both play on together as well as maybe with Mum and Dad. Anyone got any recommendations? Thanks, Nick

TaxiDriver
Get one s/h if you can, soon as the novelty wears off it'll sit in the garden taking up space till you get fed up mowing around it, or moving it about the garden so the lawn doesn't get a big dead spot
aris
Get the biggest one you can fit. As for novelty wearing off - it never did with my kids. When the weather is good, the still jump on it 5 years after we got it.
Dibs
bought a ten foot one from Asda direct two years ago with netting on recommendation from a neighbour. Bargain buy if they are doing them this year. - just checked and they are - jumpking 10ft with enclosure. It is durable and looks pretty much as good today as when bought. loads of good reviews on the website. dazsl
When you get one put it in a hole in the ground less injuries and less of an eye sore as well

pimpkiller
in the past yes, you finally get a nice sunny day and get out in the garden to be met by high pitched squealing and what sounds like two fat **** going at it on a rusty bed constantly

Ideally i'd like one that they can both play on together as well as maybe with Mum and Dad. Anyone got any recommendations? Thanks, Nick just steer away from the bouncing castles like the one in ripley on Sunday not a big fan, on trampolines one of my neighbours little girl broke her phibea when she was 7 not very nice compound fracture out of her hip , it was her birthday party, my kids did have one of the 10ft ones with the mesh enclosure but I cringed every time they got on it , they've grown up now and I got rid a few yrs ago
bruno22rf
A 10 foot one should be goiod for 2 people.any bigger and you tend to lose the bounce+be very careful if you intend to have 4 people on at the samw time unless you live right next to your local A&E
FalconFN
When you get one put it in a hole in the ground less injuries and less of an eye sore as well Yup, well worth the effort and you can turn the hole into a pond later. It was second hand for £25 and our kids (and us as well) use it whatever the weather. You'd also be surprised how shallow the hole needs to be. paul1966
bet that took some digging, looking on ebay some look about 3ft off the ground.
Diceman
Just got a 14 footer from trampoline warehouse on the net, excellent service and a very good price, delivered next day.
FalconFN
bet that took some digging, looking on ebay some look about 3ft off the ground. Not as much as you may think. I did it by hand and it took about a day - and that includes spreading the spoil over other parts of the garden to get it flat. The legs are in sections so you remove the middle bit (about 2 foot long) and dig a circular pit 1 foot deep, then dig a shallow inverted cone, starting 1 foot from the edge of the hole, to a depth of about 3 foot at the center. andypaint
Trampolines are the highest cause of spine and paraplegic injuries. Can be dangerous if not respected
Scully
My kids are now 16 and 13,and rarely go on it now,but we got the biggest one we could fit in our garden(about 10ft across)and it has had some use over the years. It was certainly worth buying as the kids love it,but be warned, once you've got it,you will have every kid in the neighbourhood calling in,and they're all to feed and water! Great fun.
