Daany
This morning saw me out at 4 to catch up with a vixen that's given me the run about for a month or so now, she had been shot at on the lamp and I admitt it I missed her 1 evening wich made her even more shy, the only way was erly morning, on arrival walking down to where I'd planned on shooting, a big dog fox shown because off hill ground I couldn't get a shot off, I got settled in and began the wait, 20 min in and just geting light she shown a quick bark to stop her, well she had other plans and she new what the bark was a out and shoot off back up the hill, I decided to take the shoot as she made off, she didn't get far 150 feet and she fell, I carried on waiting a hour to see off the old dog would come to her, after a hour I gave up a went a walk, then spotted 1 running across the feild so I got set up got it in the scope and it was a good size cub quick shout a he stop on the spot followed by a 53 v-max, before some 1 starts on shooting cubs it's a shoot and the only good fox is a dead one,

hedge
Well done that man - the `cub` looks like a teenager to me so fair game. Like you said - it's a fox and if you leave it you may spend several months chasing that one around as well.
