In my area, now the drillings have disappeared most birds seem to be back on rape, in the low growth areas.

Chitting peas and beans are being mainly ignored, but I will keep an eye on them as they are usually good this time of year.

So will they come back on the beans when they come through

rape and clover around here, seen more on clover over the last couple of weeks than anything else but sadly there's none on any of my permissions (pigeons or clover  ) and they seem to be leaving the rape alone on my permissions too. I've had some very pleasant evenings after the rabbits though :good:

Saw some birds dropping into Winter Wheat last week, closer inspection found they were eating Chickweed growing in the rows, set up shot 46 in three hours, so KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN.

yep shot 88 3 years ago in may on spring wheat that was 4 inch high with wild rape and chickweed growing in it
