Evil Elvis
After saying goodbye to her Grabndad yesterday(he passed away) we decided to go fishing today, i landed severak 20's up to 28lb, and a 34.5lb, Ti went on to land a 35lb 12oz cat after a long and protracted battle, during which it got stuck in some line in the lillies, I was determined not to lose this fish so jumped in what i thought were fairly shallow margins only to dissapear under the water....I managed to untangle it and here she is:

alex.mc
Days like that will be remembered for a lifetime! I too lost my grandmother at a similar age to your daughter. which is tough for kids that age. She used to take me fishing when my parents perhaps couldn't. She would take me to buy bait, and then off to the lake and she'd sit there patiently all day doing some knitting, crossword puzzles, reading her magazines etc. and then produce sandwiches and drinks! She knew nothing about fishing but was happy that I was happy! I still remember those trips like they were yesterday and not 40 years ago! I'm sure your daughter will remember her giant catfish all her life! Best wishes to you both.
