sirgoldalot Posted June 1, 2013 Report Share Posted June 1, 2013 optics are you get what you pay for items...top makes are top dollar because of the materials and processes involved and when you look through them the reasons are so clear...buy used save a fortune... i use a zeiss diascope for spotting and nikon 10 x 42 hg for in the field...the nikons are on par with ziess leica swaros lower models but alot cheaper any nikon HG which stands for high grade used are worth the money Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have a few second hand pairs that are good - tasco, opticron etc - and they will do all i need either on the field or marsh, and most pairs cost less than £15.
