theosmith
Does feel like turbo not working but its not making any funny noises
Trevorevans
As HDAV, check all pipe work, intercooler, turbo etc. had a split intercooler pipe on my discovery and had to go up hills that it once flew up in third in first gear and it wasn't really that big a hole. HDAV
small crack/split means you have no pressure and that means no turbo boost will burn significantly more fuel too
fruity
Egr valve maybe ?
theosmith
Annoying thing. It was fine until alarm and imobilier removed. Revs upto 2k then holds back
Medic1281
I've got a feeling he's upset the ecu and is now running in safe mode. Not sure how you'd solve this apart from taking it to a main stealer and getting it plugged in.
theosmith
What I have done today is Check fuses all fine, Check pipes all appear fine, I've left battery of for 5 hours no joy, I've tried pushing engine harder no joy. Its going to go on a diagnostics machine 2mo hopefully it will come up witht fault, No engine management light Is on either!
pigeon controller
Remove the rubber turbo pipe and see if the inner skin of the pipe is ok. If collapsed it will restrict air flow and thus power.
Twistedsanity
Pinch the air pipe where it enters the manifold and get someone to rev the engine , if you have good boost pressure the pipe will fil with air and you won't be able to restrict the flow , if you can still squeeze it then you have a leak
theosmith
on the boost pipe ....well what i think are boost pipes there are 2 which are about 2.5" diameter! when my boss revved the engine i could still kind of squeeze them

subsonicnat
Best take it apart mate, get the gaskets first, on the Fronty forum they BLANK them off, they say it runs better without it:
