Luckyshot
Had a look out last night with the plan on being out for a good few hours as I hadn't been out on the night for a few months due to the weather being so nice during the day. I had a quick scan in the first field with the archer which showed up a lot of rabbits. On deciding to use my cheap ebay torch (£7.50) on my cz 22 tonight as the white light doesn't bother the rabbits as no one else shoots this ground I fitted the torch and could see a good 80 yards with it through my viper scope so proceeded to start shooting. Around 5 minutes and the first magazine was empty with 8 rabbits on the deck. I only managed to retrieve 6 of them as the bullocks in the field decided they wanted the other 2 to keep them occupied. Going through the gate into the next field again plenty rabbits were spotted through the archer and a bonus as the field was empty. Loaded up the next magazine and then the heavens opened, not letting it spoil the night too much I carried on walking the field shooting 34 rabbits again with just my little torch on the 22 and all freehand as I've been practising lately as carrying sticks is awkward when you've also got rabbits to carry yourself. I picked up around 25 of the rabbits and headed home after just an hour soaked to the skin. This should keep the ferrets going for a while as I've just defrosted the freezer so a few rabbits were needed.
