I spotted a flock of about 50 descend on a disused railway line , which was hanging full of hawthorn berries. Absolutely nowt on OSR yet. remmy1100 Posted December 18, 2006 Report Share Posted December 18, 2006 spotted a flock of 500+ birds yesterday on a grass field not my permission but ive a 60 acre rape field on other side of road so i hope they find it just got another new farm yesterday with over 120 acres of rape scattered around couple of fields near some nice size woods saw few birds flighting woods but nothing hitting rape yet but looking forward to shooting there as theres a nice oak tree right in middle that looks like a ideal sitty tree Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Nothing on my new patch of OSR a couple of weeks ago,, not been out again yet.... Did see another hundred or so when mini me was horseriding on a patch of OSR, but its a sydicate shoot....ended up leaving my card for after the season....Will give it another knock once its all over to see if I can get any spring shooting in......
