malkiserow
They are just nice .... I had an English folding double .410 ... I looked at it more than I shot it!
The Essex Hunter
Any other? Are you looking to buy something? As I guess there was a meaning behind your post? What I have learnt about guns has been passed down since I was around 10...so that is 42 years of learning what is what... TEH

scarecrow243
they are fine when you need to use both hands as you just hang it over your shoulder I have a 12g investarm o/u with 32 inch barrels
Blackpowder
My first 12 bore was a single barrel hammerless non ejector folder with bottom lever. Awkward is not the word as it always wanted to fold in half when broken open to extrect fired case and re-load. Definately not a type of gun you want to use regularily in the field. subsonicnat
When I first started with shotguns 55 years ago, I had one, single folder ,Skeleton Stock, fitted a treat down my trouser leg.. Next To My Other Valuables. .

fortune
I can see the useful side as explained above, but in practise The couple of folders that I have (litle skeleton stocked 2-1/2 chamber 410 & a 28 bore o/u) are not my cup of tea for most purposes . They always want to fold up and are so awkward in use. A bit like riding a pushbike with rubber handlebars.
escortmagnum999
handy to keep in the box of a quad bike etc for terrier work. Iv always wanted a .410 double folder.
aister
I had one years ago and didn't like it, it was a horrible thing to carry open over your forearm.
