aris
Not my cup of tea, but those I know who ride love it. An ex school friend went to become a pro motocross racer in the US, he's now in a wheelchair. Saying that he still promotes motocross as a good sport for kids - no risk no fun I suppose. Mungler
I promised myself another bike if I ever got cancer I was like Lazarus with the amount of near death experiences I had. I'd have another one tomorrow if I didn't think I'd kill or cripple myself.
-Mongrel-
Once it's in the blood, no getting rid of it! Not tucked the Blackbird away yet, there's still time for a sneaky blast.

old rooster
Been a user for over 42 years, still got 3 in the garage but tend to mix riding in with other interests like shooting and fishing as the seasons dictate. Originally used as sole means of transport all year round but now a leisure pursuit.
silver pigeon 3
A recent convert to riding on the road, spent years in my youth riding trials and the occasional motorcross. Out yesterday on my ZR750 as the weather was good and came home with a big smile on my face. She goes off the road soon for a strip and rebuild including a nice new paint job in candy red. 88b
If Laura Klock is in it it must be good. Been riding for 45 years and only a few major mishaps so far
The Mighty Prawn
Still an every day rider! Not a good time of year with low suns, leaves and the fact most motorists are trying to kill me apparently!

Blunderbuss
Love it, always have. Bikes are massively life affirming and people who don't ride (or are too scared to) will never ever get it. Cars are functional modes of transport to me. A necessary, albeit soulless evil, I have a car but though it moves me from A to B, it never raises a smile. I never get off my bike without a huge grin on my face. bruno22rf
Great clip-bin riding for 34 years but its getting harder, bikes are so quick now but my reactions are not-I have spoken to the other half and she is in no doubt that if I meet my maker whilst on 2 wheels then I would not feel cheated. As age has crept up I have promised myself with each new bike (2 years average) that I would get something more sedate and suitable and with this in mind I sold the Fireblade and bought a ZZR1100 (whoops) then a GSXR1100 (whoops) then an R1 (whoops)-reality dawned (not) and I bought an FZR1000 exup which I kept for a few months before buying my GSXR1000 (oh poo-I give up!). So now I am in a position where I scare myself witless every time I throw a leg over it and my lad has to punch my back to relax the muscles after every ride-but would I consider quitting? NO WAY -I'm looking for a Blackbird or a Guzzi LeMans mk2 next

huds78
I`ve had bikes for the last 12yrs, everything from cbr600`s to GSXR 1000`s (over 8 bikes in my time) with my last being a late reg GSXR750 K8 I bought new in 2010. I sold it earlier this year due to me never getting the time to ride anymore going from 6000miles to 200miles a year. It was selling it that made me look at other outlets and led me to take up clay pigeon shooting but my kids can get involved as well to the point my son now has 1st gun as well ! I do miss it and its only a temporary retirement untill my kids are a bit older. A quick pic of what was my pride and joy, not a lot of it was left standard !!
