aga man
Fair enough, but why did he boil the head for 2hrs (overkill for anything) and not eat any of the actual meat? yeah good point, the head was never the meatiest part of any animal. i would imagine that having a big frozen bogie hanging off your beard would make any meat taste too salty anyway

four-wheel-drive
As I see it all meat is in fact mussel the body takes in whatever is available and turns it in to mussel pigs will eat practicaly anything from veg to meat and even poo if it has any goodness left in it fish love to eat from the bottom of the sea/river where all of the poo ends up but people love eating pigs and fish some may not tast so good that is what spices was invented for we tend to eat what the people around us eat I do not like the idea of eating bugs but lots of people in this world like them. Jonty
I have, and I wouldn't recommend it!! 20-odd years ago on a training exercise, one of the instructors shot a fox and it went in a big pot with the last of our compo rations, a few stock packets and brown biscuits etc to make a stew. We were all gutted at the pointless waste of the last few unwanted items from the ration pack as it was truly a stew from hell. It's making my toes curl just typing this.
