drilled wheat

Headed out this morning at 11. Set up for 11.30 with the wind in my back. The birds were hitting a field of drilled wheat but the flightline was making over an old barley stubble. So, in the interest of not getting muddy and tramping all over the sown field I decided to set up in the stubble.

There wasnt a huge amount moving and as the wind died back it started to dry up. I packed up at 2.30 with 64 in the bag and a hooded crow.

apologies for the photo. I cant get it to rotate for some reason. Any ideas? I will try to correct it later

Cheers guys. I am watching another field for this weekend. This one is interesting. The field had spuds in it, but they have been harvested and now its drilled with wheat. However, there are still loads of spuds on it. Also, there is a banger going, but the birds seem to have got used to it. When I switch it off on friday or saturday it will intersting to see how the birds react to gun fire.
