darren m
hi chaps hope you can help recentley about 6 weeks ago i brought a webley 810 semi auto off this site , it worked fine for approx 100/150 shots . then the dreaded action bar broke , first noticed it with a bit of jamming , so stripped it and saw the break in the bar . its a lovely gun in lovely condition so as you can imagine i am gutted , especially as i,ve been told you cant get the parts for these any more. so i,m hoping if any one as owned one of these auto's and as any experience of this , what did you do , can it be fixed . as i understand chambers is the only place that might of had one but so far no luck. SO are there any other places i can ask either UK or overseas here is a pic of the part showing the break

TIGHTCHOKE
Could it not be welded?
ChrisAsh
Take it to a good gunsmith who should be able to repair it whilst you wait for a new one You could also try the USA Forums which mayhelp to find a replacement in the states as I thing many W&S are sold there
FatFreddysCat
Fairly sure this could be MIG welded and ground flat. Might as well try it as there's nothing to lose. Gunsmith would be the best option but any engineering workshop should be able to do it.
Twistedsanity
Mine has a similar problem, it has been mig'd then tig'd and broke after about 20carts both times , I recon it needs welding then. Hardening afterwards

Gunman
And the moral of this story is ? Dont but obsolete cheap imported guns from anyone unless they are priced to throw away
figgy
You really have to look at cheap autos as throw away after the warranty term. Great if you can still get parts, if not buy another.
