louilester
Is it me or does there seem to be a glut of newbies on this forum recently? I count myself emoung them... When I was a lad I worked for a builder sanding down a squash court that was part of a farmhouse in great dunmow. I remember it had a swimming pool there too. The builder was also putting in a shower cubicle and a sauna. I remember the housekeepr giving us lots of toast and tea at 10 O'Clock, a nice salad lunch and some tea and biscuits in the afternoon.. Ahh the memories... Loui

tonyM
Hello everyone yes another newbee just brought meself a weihrauch HW97k with Hawke Nite Eye.Well wicked man!!!!! Been shooting maggies at work (golf course). Anyone got any advice on hunting them as i have been out for three weeks and only got six kills to my name! Very clever birds as they send out watchers to spot you even before iv had time to pull the gun out of the bag!! cheeky blitters. I have tried sitting in undercover bushes but if they have seen me entering the bush iv had it! Any ideas lads as i am getting frustrated and may have to take my anger out on the woodiees. If not a egg may work but the rabbit is the best method. Not sure whether a squirell would work, they may be more plentiful around the golf course they are on my course! If you fill in ur profile you will get more responses, i play at broome park in barham, by Dover Kent.
tonyM
Cheers naddan thanks for the advice, our golf course is surrounded by houses so no rabbitts live on the course, so i will have to source one else where!!. I would like to pick your brains some more please?. Where can i find information on how to zero up my scopes PROPERLY how a pellet travels, and at what speed it leaves the gun (hw97k), and rise, fall, wind movment and so on!!!!!!!. Also how the hell do i fill my profile in as i am new to computers and have no experiance of the www!!!!
