lurcherboy
Went to a Faversham area again and worked hard for 20 rabbits and some were milky This turned in a purse net. The Patterdale had gone to ground on the scuts but the bitch often does so we were surprised when a Vixen hit a net. Sophie giving her a good ragging after we hit it on the bonce. We had to hang the Vixen up as she as she wouldn't let it be. I have the tail and if anyone can tell me what to do to preserve it I would appreciate it as all my tails were taken from mods LB

Cranfield
I am not surprised at the milky does, it is so mild at present. The fox was a bonus, they must be big earths for her to get down one. I have had owls, shelducks, rats, stoats, weasels and feral cats when rabbiting, but never a fox from an earth. Had a few from land drains with ferrets though.

Ferret Master
Accidental terrier work. I like it. Did the area smell foxy as some ferrets will not enter a foxy hole? Well done on the bunnies. FM

Well done on the bunnies. FM We had just started to lay the nets FM and the patterdale had disapeared for 5 minutes. She came out of a hole and the Vixen bolted from another about 5 meters away LB

Hele Hunter
The best way to preserve the bush(fox tail) is to soak it in methelated spirits for a few days then hang to dry. It kills the germs an takes the smell away, when dry it will be ready to show off.
