Teal
Hi all, pigeonwatch underwent a spring clean today, I know you were all used to the previous layout and I apologise in advance for the forum re-ordering. However, after considerable discussion with the other moderators we felt that this layout would best suit pigeonwatch both presently and in the future as it continues to grow. You may also notice we've added two new forums- one for reloading and talking about ammunition, and the other a welcome to pigeonwatch- which we hope might get a few more guests posting! :yp:
Millomite
Looks better mate, much more organised
pin
Agreed, confused the hell out of me at first. Wandered off for a cup of tea, came back and it was all shiny and new :yp: Ooh, and a new version of IPB, now with added fast reply for topics you have posted in (look at the bottom of a thread you have posted in) as well as new navigation for threads. You have been busy Teal!
Hunter
Well done chaps, It did confuse me for a second, but I like it :yp:
garyb
Hehe, I didn't notice as I only use the "View New Posts" option or Search :yp:
Pedro
Out of interest, how many newbies are arriving each week roughly? P.
Dunkield
It does look good but I feel we have reached the maximum number of sections now, IMHO any more would be too many. Plenty of work for the mods to do though, moving posts the right section :yp:
Millomite
Pedro, around 150 have joined in the last week, how many of these are robot registrations I do not know, but Barbie for sex looks like a likely candidate
Dunkield
Barbie for sex looks like a likely candidate In that case can you tell he to stop PM'ing me, I am simply not available :yp:
Pedro
Being non - techno, what's a robot registration? Any more of your pics Millomite, they were top stuff :yp: P.
Cranfield
A robot registration is when Spammers "join" Forums to post their Spam messages. We prevent a lot of them joining , but some slip through. However, 99.9% of their posts are caught at the next stage. So you see the odd name at the bottom of the page as our "new member", but never see any posts from them. They get cleaned off the system every now and then. Dr W
All spammers should be shot! They serve no purpose except to annoy me, 'NO I don't want any viagra off the internet' Grrrrrrr
invector
Already got your Viagra, from the doctor, then?
JohnGalway
Looking good Teal, I like the new layout. Although like Garyb I didn't notice until I read this thread as I too use the View New Posts option 99% of my time here. According to the spammers my wife will notice the difference and love it much more, which is all news to me as I'm not married :yp: I think...
