amateur
What a great evening, putting faces to familiar names and catching up with friends. Good choice of pub,
Gnome of the Woods
Made it "home" in one piece, what a great evening. Renewed old friendships and made some new ones. When is the next one?
Blunderbuss
Excellent evening, and what a great bunch of blokes. I did larf when I saw Terry with a shell decoy on his head in a crowded pub. Flocked of course, he's no scruff...
Catamong
Yeah, good time had by all, thanks to Frank for arranging the meet up. Cat.

shootgun
yeah, what a great evening! next time we should choose a bigger and perhaps quieter venue Bakerboy and his shell decoy were brilliant Thanks to everyone for attending
bakerboy
A really good evening had by all. I managed to stay awake on the train and did not miss my stop, result so still in Lesley's good books , although 12.30 was a little later than the 11.00 I predicted. good to put faces to names, meet and make new friends and catch up with some old friends. Well done to Frank for organising the evening, I am sure another will not be too far away. Off shooting now with a slightly thick head (you may say that is the norm for me "thick head that is") . Mentalmac
Excellent evening, and what a great bunch of blokes. I did larf when I saw Terry with a shell decoy on his head in a crowded pub. Flocked of course, he's no scruff... Haha I can just imagine that! Ah, if only it was today I would have been there like a shot (in the smoke all day) Hope you guys had a good time.
guest1957
Good evening. Great to meet people. I do think whoever invented mint chocolate beer needs to be strung up on Blackfriars Bridge...
shaun4860
Sounds like a cracking night, This it's what it's all about, forget all the online bickering, get a good few members together for a meet and the world is a better place, This is why the charity shoot is a great idea and the Friday night before
Gnome of the Woods
I can only echo what has been said, an excellent night. I can struggle in social situation's but felt very comfortable in everybody's company. Glad I never had the mint chocolate beer, seemed to have a reaction with some of our party! Dunkield
Never mind the beer, how were the pies?
bakerboy
My Pie was excellent , it was not what I ordered but when it came it was very welcome. I had the Chicken and Leek with chips and a bit of veg £8.00 good value and good food.
Blunderbuss
Never mind the beer, how were the pies? If I'm totally honest, a little disappointing though they were the only thing about the evening which was. Flaky pastry lid on a dish does not a pie make Call me old fashioned but surely a pie has to be encased in pastry? The filling was mostly gravy with not too much substance but it did taste nice. Maybe I was just unlucky The beer selection was awesome though
aris
Never mind the beer, how were the pies? Not bad at all, though it was more of a pot pie with a pastry crown on top. Chips were proper chips too.

malkiserow
I would have preferred a all round pie but the flavour on mine was good. The chips were good I think we all had pies....... reminds me of the old Maggie Thatcher joke about taking an order in a restaurant when all the cabinet office went out. She was asked about the veg..... she said "they'll have the same" Good venue to meet - very handy
