figgy
You gave the swear filter a battering there crowdie. How long do you have to be resident to get a vote, wondering whether a trip up in the caravan will do it, I'd register of course. Tickled me that Salmond wants to keep the pound sterling as currency. Cherry picking you naughty boy. Figgy Edited January 30, 2014 by figgy
hedd-wyn
It's **** being Scottish! We're the lowest of the low, the scum of the ******* earth, the most wretched, miserable, servile, pathetic trash that was ever **** into civilization. Some people hate the English, I don't. They're just *******. We, on the other hand, are colonized by *******. We can't even find a decent culture to be colonized by. We are ruled by effete *********. It's a **** state of affairs to be in, Tommy! And all the fresh air in the world won't make any ******* difference! Fatty from Twin Town sums up our situation quite well! Sure you're not from Wales
Dead-Eyed Duck
Tool, you said it.. The livelihood of 75 people depended on my efforts, and not one was ever made redundant due to a lack of sales. As this has degenerated to a personal slanging match, I will sign off. When your eye died your brain died with it, I'm afraid, old chap. And that last sentence contributed what to this debate? Poor, pathetic troll.... Figgy Mark Carney will be the boy deciding that still its all academic as unfortunately most jocks do actually see sense, loved the guy interviewed (bbc) in Edinburgh today when asked if he wanted to keep sterling he said if they don't I am moving south. I reckon salmond is the Scottish equivalent of Anjem Choudary radicalising the easy lead KW Edited January 29, 2014 by kdubya

KW Quick close the borders, build the wall we have seen the results of them getting over. Geordies How can you claim independence and want to keep nearly everything thats English. The more I see of this I'm not suprised most scots don't want it. If they end up with it what then, wait for parties to be formed in a Independant Scotland and start voting for a party that would want to reunify with England and Wales. Figgy The phrase "Hang the French spy monkey" comes to mind As an aside and totally off topic I watched Paxman's thing on the first world war on Monday night, and I never knew Hartlepool was shelled by the German navy in the first world war, women and children were killed There was an interview with an old (105) lady that witnessed it

figgy
The first person to be killed in the war on British soil was in Hartlepool next to the heugh battery. A brass plaque on the wall commemorates the event. It was bombed due to the ship yards. Or they seen what we do to foreign soldiers that come ashore and got the first strike in. The historic quay and maritime museum is very good. Back on topic, its worse for you Shaun as the story I was told was that a Scotsman had his way with a sheep and flung it over the border spawning the first Geordie. Ill stick with choking chimps. Laird Lugton
I sincerely hope Wee Eck and the Tartan Taliban get a flea in their ear come September. Never mind who said what where when and pays gets what, Scotland is a valuable part to the United Kingdom and should stay that way. The fact that a party (the SNP) who's only reason to exist is hatred of the English is pushing for this tells me all I need to know. Not only that, I don't know if I could be bothered changing money and going through immigration everyime I wanted to visit my mates lol When will people realise this isn't about hatred of the English or Braveheart Mk 2? A certain section of society up here believes running their own affairs would make Scotland a better place, a more just place.... For the record I am firmly in the "No" camp! I frequent a few pages dedicated to the UK commercial fishing scene and the majority of Scottish fishermen are totally behind the union. Gist of the threads are how can you claim to wish independence and be masters of your own destiny and then promptly sign up to the EU with the tighter controls that will come with a new membership. Wee Eck gets a right drubbing on those pages he does.... Edited January 30, 2014 by Sprackles

JOHNNIE Me - twist posts? - well that's a case of pots and kettles if ever I heard one. I am pretty certain Auld Yin that if we met in a pub we would get on famously. The biggest difficulty would be in getting you to buy the first round - you being a pseudo Scot and all that. and if you ponder why I said that, my dear auld customer at Port Glasgow said that only true Scots came from Glasgow, and originating from Edinburgh was almost as bad as being an Anglophile like wot I am.
