aga man Posted February 14, 2014 Report Share Posted February 14, 2014 The only reason for posting the results of this weeks roost session is to prove how completley mad i am. From the day before the weather had been forcasting rain, strong winds and more rain! with a nice bottle of famous grouse and some cold beers in the fridge, most sensible folk would have stayed at home and got nicely merry. I thouroughly enjoy these roost evenings and stuck by my fellow guns who also thought **** it and braved the weather. needles to say the rain came along with sleet and 25mph+ winds the shooting was difficult and i dare say one or two woods had no one in them as the the sport was a lot slower than last week. as always the evening was enjoyable and a modest bag was taken. Brazzy if your reading this the babour wax a priceless piece of kit tonight thanks pal i finished up with a dozen pigeons and a squirrel. i am now dried outand enjoying a famous grouse and a cold beer Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Paul taylor Posted February 15, 2014 Report Share Posted February 15, 2014 Nicely done if your mad you're not on your own I spent 3hr with me being the only thing holding my hide netting up while getting soaked for 1 crow and 1 jackdaw very difficult weather and shooting but for some reason I just have to do it.
