Reeceknight
erm he had a look. but a few people had gathered and think he didn't feel that confident. We put different cartridges through it. honestly the first few times it fired with off you could never fire that fast, it almost sounded like one shot but louder. then after a while I could hear both shots. it ejected both carts when it done this, because if it wasn't doing this it was jamming the emptys or mis firing. delburt0
Had good and bad reports, personally the bad reports have put me off but some shooters love them and never had a problem.. It's a case of u pay yer money u take yer chance I suppose..
delburt0
it literally shoots both, almost as one BANG like when an over and under shoots both barrels. I think the 3 main issues won't be fixed by a strip down and clean though, pulling the trigger and it simply not firing, when it does it fires both shots full auto, it jammed emptys and instead of the receiver locking open once it ejects the final empty it closes again as if it is still cycling the rounds. Essex gun said that it defnatly isn't rite and has some problems. wich is a Shane because I normally like them and stick up for them bang for buck.if this was a car it would be recalled before someone dies. Penelope
Sorry Reeceknight but, Yeah, I reckon it's the cartridges. Put them through a decent gun and they'll be fine.
Penelope
Essex Gun have a shop at Fennes. I doubt very much that they "came out" especially for him, more like they were shooting at the same ground whilst he was there too

Penfolio
I was going to post to say that the Hatfans will be around soon enough, to tell you that it's all down to your poor cleaning regime but, I see that they managed to get here quicker than me. Cosd
There is a rule which doesn't allow posts to be hijacked where people ask for shooting; I can't understand why it's allowed to happen to anyone who posts a question regarding Hatsan guns! There are enough people on this forum who do own these guns whom I'm sure would probably post more often if they didn't think they would get attacked every time! Seriously guys, your anti Hatsan posts are so boring. If you have nothing constructive to say, why say anything at all?
Reeceknight
Oh I wouldn't worry iv owned to and I'm actually p*****d off with the fact it's brand new and broke but it's only light hearted banter no different to beretta vs browning, evo vs Subaru, hatsan vs ......... A broom stick. Lol it's only opinion and like many people say opinions are like bum holes, everyone has one. the banter has just made light of a bad situations to be honest. Seriously guys, your anti Hatsan posts are so boring. If you have nothing constructive to say, why say anything at all? Seems Reece has taken it the right way even if you have not. Why should it not be allowed to happen ? Should those that have experience on just how bad these guns can be keep silent and let them that are thinking of buying discover this themselves ? You were asking about up market autos the otrher week why bother if you do not want a honest opinion ? would you rather buy something and find out it is unreliable and us say " yeah we knew it would be , but did not want to say " . Sure there may be some good one's out there but the fact is a far higher percentage have problems compared to Beretta's and such like. At the end of the day chances are you cannot expect to buy a skoda and have the same performance as a ferrari can you , but as long as you are happy with driving a skoda then fine. My recomemdation for a auto will always be buy the very best you can afford and you are likely to get a much more reliable gun.
Penelope
Not knocking you, just thought the comment was funny. As per your other thread, I hope you get your money back without too much aggro. Hi Fenboy I have no issues with anyone with experience giving an honest opinion no matter how bad, nor do I have an issue with anyone without experience giving constructive advice, it's the bandwagon guys who have no experience with them and nothing better to do than derail a post! mark a
my hatsan is in my cabinet and that's where it will stay until i have enough money to trade it in for something else. Ive got so fed up with it jamming i just don't trust it anymore and don't enjoy using it so it has to go. Its about 18months old and i only use clear pigeon 32 #6 70mm carts through this gun but still jams. As for which side of the fence im on im on the haters side and that's through experience. mark a

I have never owned a hatsan.known a few that have good and bad.overall they have a reputation for unreliable.so I will not ever buy one.i do not need to waste money to prove to myself what others have shown.i demand 100% reliability nothing less. Daz1986
Might sound daft mate but are you using the same carts?? I have a hatsan and if I have mixed carts in the bag it sometimes fires both barrels.
Reeceknight
I put about 30 off each through it. Black golds, clear pigeon, super fast. The shop wanted to out different ones through it before they made there mind up about sending it back to hatsan.
Tim85
I have had issues with my Hatstand, as many have. However recently its been working very well. I chaged to Eley Pigeon Carts and it cycles them fine. Had a couple of miss fires in the past but nothing too bad. Keep it clean and lubed when in use and it should be fine but they all have there personalities by the sounds of it. I want a Maxus now or an A5 :-)

Do you know what I am no particular fan of semis but thus is just plain dangerous!
