four-wheel-drive
That Panther is a beautiful thing to behold what sort of engine has it got and what was the problem with it. On to the one before that I had one of those Capries a red 2ltr laser with a 3ltr carb and 2.8ltr wheels that was fast but it did drink the petrol I only sold it as I was getting on and found it hard to get in and out of it so I got a 4x4. Beardo
It's a Vauxhall Magnum 2.3 slant four believe it or not! I'm pretty sure it's gunk in the fuel system, as it's been sat around for a couple of years without being driven and it doesn't have a fuel filter as such. Dunkield
What carbs does it have Nick? I am assuming Delorto's? If they are fixed jet you will just need to find all the jets and blow them out with air duster or clear them with a pin.
Beardo
It's a Zenith Stromberg 175 CD - same as an MGB / Triumph Stag / Jag E-type etc.

cant hit rabbits 123
I wish there was a repro So do I, even considered making one but there's far too much work involved for it to be feasible for me. Maybe some enterprising engineer on PW will see this and consider knocking a few kits out. Hint hint, nudge nudge. Could probably make good money from it, too. Dunkield
It's a Zenith Stromberg 175 CD - same as an MGB / Triumph Stag / Jag E-type etc. Split diaphragms then, check those that is a favourite on those. Jags had SU's the 6.5x55 of carbs :-)

Still owned by my friend PW member Charger Here's my Panther Lima last Saturday... And here it is on Sunday. 80 miles from home... We just sold a Panther Kolistra (spelling) not sure what was under the bonnet of that one ? But my boss asked me to repair one 20 years ago - tha back axle was bent! This one had a 2.8 Ford V6 so I "fabricated" an axle out of a 2.8i Capri with an LSD boy was it tail happy  Don't think it should have had an LSD :whistling:
Beardo
Yeah the Kallista was all Ford parts under the hood, lovingly hand built by Panther Westlands down at Brooklands circuit

four-wheel-drive
My Sunbeam at the spray shop. Its being resprayed its original colour white. Hopefully how it will end up looking. (not my car or picture) Looks like you are making a good job of restoring it I do not much like white as a colour for cars shows up the dirt to much but I do think that it is always best to keep to the original colour I think it looks bad if you take something off and find that it is painted a different colour underneath the worst one of all for me is to see a white Land Rover Defender  . Beardo
Loving the sunbeam. Cookie cutters and 944 wings (I'll write up the long version when I'm on a computer) Shame she didn't keep the GT, not many about these days
