beesley121
Why does it look like the bullet hits the dirt in front of the coyote?
four-wheel-drive
Why does it look like the bullet hits the dirt in front of the coyote? Perhaps it died of fright Just had another look perhaps it hit a stone in front of the coyote and ricocheted up in to it but whatever the thing was dead when they got to it. woody801
They both fire at the same time. 1 hits the ground in front the other hits the target.

beesley121
cos they fboth fired,1 fell short.. cos they fboth fired,1 fell short.. That makes sense, I thought they were aiming for 1 each If there rifles were zeroed say at 300 yards, how many inches high would they have had to aim to make the kill? There's a fair wind blowing too by the sounds of it Edited May 20, 2014 by beesley121

Underdog
Good n'....tried with a 308 once. No idea of the distance but it must of been a mile or so. There was an oak next to the target, I knew it was about 30' so used the top for a guessed 30' of hold. The bullet was about 10' short and not bad windage....it was a long time ago but I remember being quite pleased as it was all guessing!
