motty
Hard luck. I had something similar some years ago when bitten by a dog. That will take time to heal. Don't rush it.

goober
Sounds pretty bad Stuy, take the time to let it heal well mate.most important thing is recovery, lost my finger tips(top third off two fingers)and didn't do the proper recovery excercises and has taken years to get flex back in fingers. Hope recovery goes well for for you.
DEADLY PLUMBER
Thats not great. The cuts will heal quicker than the tendons. I cut the one on the back of my right thumb it took about six weeks to get out of the strap I had to wear. Tendons take time to heal because not much blood flows through them. Yours sounds far worse. garden gun
Had to have both Achilles reconstructed a few years ago - take it steady and do your physio once the plaster is off. Stuff called Bio Oil is great for reducing the scar tissue a tad expensive but well worth it. Healing completely will take time - be patient. I was bed bound for two/thre weeks after each op - got to read all the Morse novels, Bond etc. It does not have to be daytime TV.
stuy
Thanks all I just have to grin and bare it , being a self employed plasterer means also no money for a while, very lucky to have a wife who earns alot more than I do! Going to contact a few friends in a couple of weeks they can pick me up and I will show them what i think will shoot and spot for them! ( goober! Be ready)
