paulos
I have been asked to clear some rabbits out of a small piece of land. Safety isn't an issue but it's in a sensitive location and I need to be fairly discrete. I could do with being as quiet as possible. I haven't picked up my air rifle for a few years though and have absolutely no idea what's on the market now. My Webley Raider has a 4" BBMF silencer on it, but I imagine there are more effective available now. Any recommendations? Cheers!
Will Poon
if this wasn't in the air gun section I reckon 410 hushpower would be sufficient

paulos
Cheers everyone! Sounds like HW may be the way to go. Just goes to show how long it is since I've used it - you can't even buy them online anymore!! When did THAT happen? Tsk...

David M
Matt's delrin silencers made to order for your gun are outstanding silencers and under £40 delivered. A lot of people compare them to an HW costing over £60. They are very professionally made and are whisper quiet. Read some of the happy customers on his sales thread.. http://www.airgunforum.co.uk/forums/showthread.php/102062-MW-Super-Silent-Sound-Moderators-Prototype-Silencers?highlight=mwss I got one for my springer that I carbined and can't fault it's effectiveness....... Longbower
A Swift moderator (it looks just like a HW100, but is a fraction quieter, and cheaper) , is my choice . Very quiet. .

mick miller
Hw, decimeater or hugget are all good.
Theskyfox
Definately the Weihrauch. Its the quietest I've seen by far. I got an air arms moderator with my S410 TDR...it was ok but was at least double the volume of the Weihrauch. I've now got an adaptor on the S410 to fit the HW and its quiet as a mouse . -Andrew
