I dont think rain makes a lot of difference to the rabbits flash ,

but I personaly don't like ferreting in strong wind,as I find rabbits dont bolt so well ,

it would be interesting to know if others find the same thing.

That was a good haul Nevb , and i'd be interested to hear more on your therory of time making a difference,

I,ve never realy found any difference myself, but I always like to start early and finish well before it starts to get dark,

All the best Mick.

Mine always moan about having to work in the Rain   So last time I explained to them nearly all there work is underground  :lol::P

:D:D

How are my young jills doing mate?

Ive always found that i get more to ground when its raining but if its windy you will be digging alot more.

Hi Gents. never had a problem ferreting in the rain, rabbits have bolted freely when they are home. Strong winds as previously mentioned have been a problem for me too!! Not sure why it makes a difference perhaps whistling, howling noise at mouth of holes?? anyway decided a long time ago that if you do not go out you've no chance of catching anything. hope this helps!
