chrisjpainter
I was out yetserday in the West Berks downs and there were a few still here along with the odd house martin. But not many
ordnance
The ones above our front door must of departed, as I haven't had to get out the boiling water and scrubbing brush out for a few days. I don't really mind hope they will be back next year.
Fisherman Mike
A few stragglers round here probably the second clutch..but they will be gone before the weather turns....Its amazing how they know where to go. Migration normally takes six weeks, but they don't fatten up before migration and many don't make it. If they hit a sustained period of bad weather many will die en route. Kes
Left my bit of Cheshire 2 weeks ago usually the 18th September so a little late this year. Pretty much clockwork despite the good weather - must be the daylight hours?
spinach
They started thinning out last week, though I haven't seen any lined up on telegraph wires . John

rimfire4969
Seems it was a great year around here, 3 clutches from the same nest in one barn. We have a few left but most have moved on.
