haggis
Does any shoot with one? wondered about using on clays?
Beretta06
Love them! With the exception of my MX12, all my guns are PoW. Elegant to look at, and very comfortable when holding the gun for long periods of time :-)
haggis
What about on clays?
Beretta06
Fine for clays. I think it is all down to what you like. Maybe find someone local that will let you try one on clays.

Beretta06
Personally, I think it would be perfectly acceptable.
grrclark
I have a CG Forum 20g with the PoW stock, I like it an awful lot.
welshwarrior
Personally I don't like them but love the look I need a chunk grip with a good pal swell for my large hands. I also prefer a nice big semi beaver tail forend. But if you like them shoot them is my view. Scully
My Grand European is POW stocked and I wouldn't have bought it if it hadn't been. Could have bought one many times over but was waiting for a good example with a POW stock as I think the look is stylish and elegant. It is used mostly for game as it's a game gun, but have shot clays recently and it doesn't feel any different to me.
grrclark
I bought my B725 because of the chunky palm swell WW and when I pick the gun up it does feel right and very comfortable, but I have rheumatoid arthritis and after a while my hand starts to ache with the B725. The CG with the PoW grip is much less fatiguing on my hand, I probably subtly change hand position without appreciating it on the CG and stop the fatigue, where as the palm swell on the Browning prevents that. As much as i like the B725 I am seriously giving some thought to changing it just because of that reason.
JohnfromUK
PoW is almost 'straight hand' where the hand actually grips. For me - thats a good thing. I have small hands and prefer straight hand or PoW to pistol grip, especially with double triggers - which I also prefer.
PhilR
I've had a couple of pistol gripped stocks converted to PoW and it isn't beyond the capability of a decent stocker. Rather than sell a gun you like consider having it altered.
figgy
I prefer pow stocks to straight hand stocks as my wrists don't bend like they used to. Would not bother me in the least you won't even notice the difference after a box of carts. Figgy

TDS
Used to shoot clays with a PoW grip Win 101 Supergrade...fast handling and would have another tomorrow ,unfortunately no minters about Browning made a 425 Golden Clays Sporting with PoW grip moreso for the USA market but have seen a few on Guntrader over the years Clays are only simulated game anyway
DaveyTed
For anyone thinking of having a stock modified to POW remember you can't change it back if you don't like it. I sold a nice 325 grade 5 on here because I couldn't get on with the POW grip that had been previously done. My wrist did not seem to flex to get a secure grip so maybe I'm biased. Looked good though.
