Scully
I often comment on guns for sale, but never in a derogatory fashion I hope.
hodge911
I said to myself I'd keep my mouth shut. But when something is on my mind I have to say something. How come that in the for sale section, that it is becoming a habit for people to comment on a sale Item when they obviously don't want it. Eg;- Cheaper at so & so, Why are you selling it, I wouldn't have one of those, This one's better Surely the seller wants X£'s for it, if the buyer wants to pay that, then they do, end of story. I'm very plain speaking and I'm afraid this winds me up. Perhaps I'm just a grumpy old *** +
Dunkield
Eg;- Cheaper at so & so, Why are you selling it, I wouldn't have one of those, This one's better Surely the seller wants X£'s for it, if the buyer wants to pay that, then they do, end of story. I informed him of this and put up links to the shop selling them. I wanted him to reduce his price to a more reasonable level so that we would buy it. He got snotty, we bought new! Boom! As Shaun has said, if someone interferes with your sale, use the report button.

fog horn
I agree with some of the comments here, there is no need to poke your nose in a spiteful manner and publicly post "your item is over priced poop mate" or words to that affect ☺ but again that said a little comment or word encouragement to a seller is a nice thing and indeed a boost back to the top! But then as someone said a bit higher up there really is some pointless replys or less than helpful comments that are posted on these forums sometimes when all your really after is help from knowledgeable chaps, which I might add most on here are 😊 Edited January 13, 2015 by fog horn
Scully
but again that said a little comment or word encouragement to a seller is a nice thing and indeed a boost back to the top! Comments in 'sales' don't 'boost' the item 'back to the top'. It would be the busiest section on the forum if that were the case.
spanj
I agree totally, some people just have a nasty streak and can't help themselves I take exception to that having done just this....... my intentions were good. I would have hated to see soembody on here ripped off (even unintentionally) but I do accept it should have been done by PM
southeastpete
Ah, to me it boosts back to the top because I always read the forum by clicking the new content button, as it saves me going through each and every sub forum to find interesting or active topics. That's a point I hadn't considered; I have never used the 'new content' button.
