The heart, lungs and many other vital parts could of been injured leeding to death but because they got 'lucky' he survived. Still got a 'propper' sentence though. If they could not prove which one used the used the knife they should have both been charged, with joint enterprise to murder but not sure of the ins & outs (if indeed it is still on the statute books). I'd wager he's had his own way all of his life and has learnt to just demand or take what he wants. Anyway, despite what I think it's lmost impossible to believe that someone could do that to their own Grandfather.
